The second release in our series of Dimentia 13 download reissues. Dimentia 13 was Brad Warner's long running psych/garage outfit.
Here's what Brad wrote about it, 20 years ago!: "This album is a collection of previously unreleased 4-track home demos. None of this material has ever been made public before. Not on compilations, flexi-discs, cassettes — nothin’! However this is not Dimentia 13’s Dead Letter Office (REM’s then-current album of rejected songs) as I’m quite proud of most of this stuff and happy to see it included as part of the Dimentia 13 canon. Since this stuff is all from cassette masters the sound quality is kinda rough. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! But it’s not so bad. Listen at your own peril. Enjoy it in your cave of black discontent. That’s what it’s for. By the way I’m writing these liner notes on August 31, 1989. I have a bad cold and it’ll be several months before this is released. My opinions will all have changed by then."
Brad tells me that actually, his opinion hasn't changed at all on these recordings: it's still a great lo-fi creeper!
